NEW YORK — Jack Whitaker, whose Corridor of Fame broadcasting profession ranged from the primary Tremendous Bowl to Secretariat’s Triple Crown to quick essays from main sporting occasions, died Sunday morning, CBS reported.

Whitaker, a Philadelphia native who was wounded on Omaha Seashore three days after the D-Day invasion, started his broadcast profession at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia and spent 22 years for CBS Sports activities.
