Stranger Things Season 3 just premiered weeks ago, and talks of the plotlines for Stranger Things season 4 are already on cards for the fanbase of the show. Season 3 was mostly centred on Eleven’s journey in defeating the ‘Mindflayer’. She could only have possibly done it through her powers.
But in the season finale, as we all witnessed, Eleven lost all her psychic powers and was brought down to ground zero. The Mindflayer manages to stick a demagog, on Eleven’s leg after biting her. With a psychic exchange with Eleven through Billy, The Mindflayer reveals that the creature is obsessed with her and her powers. So, if we come to think about it, Mindflayer may have something to do with Eleven losing all her powers.
Up until now, we’ve not seen an Upside-Down creature attach itself to somebody. So, Season 4 might also delve into the parasitic nature of these creatures. Eleven, without her powers, would be an interesting plot twist we didn’t know we needed in Stranger Things.
The evil Demogorgon would certainly be back in season 4. If it’s chilling demeanour wasn’t enough, we also have a possibility of it being of parasitic nature. Also, the antagonists being so powerful leads to our favourite characters at risk of constant danger.
As the human side of forces are weaker at this point in the show, and the antagonist being super powerful, Eleven might need to call her sister Kali to the rescue and see if she is ready to fight.
Whatever the plot arcs may be, Stranger Things fans are in for a ride of delight in the next season and we’re here for it.
