CALGARY, Alberta — Andrew Harris ran for 134 yards and a landing and caught a scoring cross to assist the Winnipeg Blue Bombers win their first Gray Cup title since 1990, 33-12 over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday night time.
The Blue Bombers received their 10th title, turning into the primary third-place staff to succeed in and win the Canadian Soccer League championship since Edmonton in 2005.
With the temperature within the mid-30s with little wind, Harris opened the scoring within the first quarter with a 15-yard run and caught an 18-yard landing cross from backup Chris Streveler within the second quarter.
Harris completed with six catches for 35 yards.
Zach Collaros, the previous College of Cincinnati quarterback in his first season with Winnipeg and eighth within the, accomplished 17 of 23 passes for 170 yards.
Streveler was three for three for 39 yards.
Justin Medlock made six discipline objectives, salvaging a single on his lone miss. Dane Evans threw a 4-yard landing cross to Bralon Addison within the third quarter for Hamilton. The Tiger-Cats received their final championship in 1999.
